Patrick Merchant is the Chief Information Officer of Information Technologies Group. As early as 1990 he realized the potential of a “one stop” global warehouse of information. Pat founded Internet Resource Developers in 1993. IRD was a consulting agency focusing on providing Internet informational resources to the business community. Early clients, including the Marketing Research Corporation of America, were among the first companies to get on “the information super highway.” When IRD created MCA’s first website in 1995, there were still only a few thousand corporate web sites on the Internet. Today, there are more than 3,649,000 web sites globally. In 1996 IRD in conjunction with the Marketing Corporation of America, created the first online survey for Ralph Lauren Fragrances.

Jo Ellen Merchant is the Chief Financial Officer of Information Technologies Group, LLC, and also serves as the President of new business ventures for ITG's WebWorksFactory Web Design Agency. With a background in business administration and the Internet, Jo also finds the time to write scientific articles for web-based e-zines.
